I just baked these brownies I created while back and used a heart shape cookie cutter to make them especial for valentine’s day. If you prefer something guaranteed decadent this is it!!
They are great brownies, I must say :-), when you use semi sweet choc chips use 1/2 cup of sugar rather than 3/4 cups. This period I did use semi sweet choc chips and used 1/2 cup sugar that\’s enough!!
There is simply not much to say about these brownies, just that they are awesome and we also love them well, i hope you make use of them soon 🙂
In the second few days I most certainly will have a post with a few healthier baking sources of Valentine’s day so stay tuned for more but until then these brownies helps keep you satisfied 🙂
Enjoy!!
Here you will uncover how I was utilizing the cookie cutter. It is easy to serve the brownies how ever that suits you. I used chocolate syrup, hot chocolate mix and frozen goodies afterwards 🙂
Yield: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, minus 2 tablespoons
2 eggs
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup unrefined sugar, can be done 3/4 cup in case you like
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring, I sometimes use chocolate extract or amaretto liquor
1 cup whole-wheat pastry flour, minus two tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
12 oz delicious chocolate chips, 1 bag
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a square baking pan along with aside.
In a bowl whisk first 5 ingredients. Add flour and baking powder and incorporate well.
In a bowl place chocolate chips and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well. Continue microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring anywhere between, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Incorporate melted chocolate towards the batter and mix through. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until cake tester originates out clean.
Let the brownies cool. When completely cool get rid of the brownies of your pan to some flat table of cutting board where one can cut the brownies making use of the heart shape standard. Stamp hearts on the brownies, during the picture, and serve as desired.
